TERMS & CONDITIONS


Agreement

  • In this agreement, "Dilas Rent", “Our”, and “We” refer to Dilas Home Furnishing Sdn. Bhd., the owning business entity of Dilas Rent.
  • "Customer" refers to either a natural person or a business entity that rents our products.
  • Customers are required to thoroughly read and comprehend the Terms and Conditions governing our rental service.
  • Customers must agree to and accept these Terms and Conditions to proceed with item rental.
  • DILAS Rent reserves the right to decline rental requests if customers do not agree to the policies and Terms & Conditions outlined.
  • By placing a rental order, customers must agree to the following rental terms and conditions.
  • All rental items remain the property of DILAS Rent
  • The rental agreement is solely between DILAS Rent and the customers.

Reservations

  • Reservations can be through our Website or Catalogues. 
  • Viewable PDF files of our catalogues can be requested by contacting us on our website.
  • Duration of items rental must be selected and confirmed by the customer.
  • Customers may contact us through WHATSAPP for fast response.
  • Customers should make a reservation at least THREE(3) working days in advance to ensure timely preparation. For optimal availability, we recommend renting TWO(2) months in advance, allowing ample time to secure your desired selections and make necessary arrangements for your event.
  • Change of Date: customers are required to inform us TWO(2) weeks prior to the pickup date, and we will accommodate your request based on item availability. However, please note that changes are limited to 3 date changes.

Rental Rates

  • The rental rate varies based on the duration. Our base rate starts from 2 days. For the third day, there's a 30% surcharge, and for the fourth day, there's a 20% surcharge. Subsequently, each extra day incurs a 10% increase from the base rate.
  • Example:
  • Base rate (2 days) = RM100
  • 3 days = RM100 + 30% of base rate = RM100 + RM30 = RM130
  • 4 days = RM130 + 20% of base rate = RM130 + RM20 = RM150
  • 5 days = RM150 + 10% of base rate = RM150 + RM10 = RM160
  • After the 4th day, each additional day incurs a 10% increase from the base rate.

Cancellation

  • Cancellation within 1-3 days after placing an order: 100% refund on the rental fee
  • Cancellation within 4-7 days after placing an order: 70% refund on the rental fee
  • Cancellation within 8-14 days after placing an order: 50% refund on the rental fee
  • Cancellation more than 14 days after placing an order: 0% refund, rental fee fully forfeited
  • Please note that for orders where we specially stocked up to meet the order requirement, no cancellation is allowed, and full rental fee charges will be incurred.
  • The security deposit will be refunded for all cancellations.

Payment & Security Deposit

  • Payment can be made through Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and bank transfer (for manual orders via WhatsApp). Cash payments are not accepted.
  • All prices on our website are listed in MYR (Malaysian Ringgit).
  • Payment should be made within THREE(3) days upon reservation once the item availability has been confirmed by our customer service.
  • A 100% (rental base rate) deposit to secure the rentals for your event. This deposit serves as a security measure in case of damages or late returns, with charges deducted accordingly.
  • Rental base rate: This refers to the base rate for a 2-day rental period.
  • Rental total fee: This represents the total rental fee, which is calculated based on the number of days rented beyond the initial 2-day period.
  • An invoice will be sent upon payment.

Collection

  • Pickup/ return Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Closed on Sunday and Selangor Public Holidays
  • Customers can self-collect the items in our warehouse.
  • Customers can use Lalamove or courier service for collections. However, the delivery fee will be borne by the customer.
  • The rental items must be collected by customers or their representatives (e.g., Lalamove, Grab) on the agreed collection date and time as mentioned in the invoice.
  • Photos and Videos will be taken by both parties (customers & warehouse representatives) as proof of collections. This includes the type and quantity of every single rental item. 
  • Electronic items such as lamps will be tested on the spot and videographed.
  • An invoice for the list of rental items will be provided to the customers or collection representatives.
  • Waiver of Rights: If the customer chooses not to inspect the rental item, the customer acknowledges their acceptance of their current condition. Our company holds no responsibility for any damages discovered after the items leave the store, damage charges will be incurred upon return.
  • Customers or representatives must sign the confirmation form upon collection of the rental items.

Return & Refund

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Closed on Sunday and Selangor Public Holidays
  • Late returns are strictly not allowed, as they can disrupt our consecutive rental orders. For each day of late return, a penalty fee equal to 50% of the base rate will be applied.
  • Customers can self-return the items in our warehouse.
  • Customers can use Lalamove or courier service for returns. However, the delivery fee will be borne by the customer.
  • Rental items will be inspected by our warehouse representative. Any damage or loss will be identified and confirmed by both parties (the customer and the warehouse representative).
  • Photos and videos will be taken as proof for further process, any damage or loss will be recorded and processed accordingly by the customer service representative.

Security Deposit Refund

  • Security deposit refund will be processed on the same working day upon satisfactory return of all rented items. Any deductions for damages or late returns will be deducted from the deposit amount, with the remaining balance refunded accordingly.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used for the order. The refund process typically takes between 3 to 7 business days, depending on your debit or credit card issuer.

Damage & Loss

  • All rental items are inspected in detail by our warehouse representatives before hand over to the customer.
  • Customers are highly encouraged to inspect the rental items and report any defects or damage to our warehouse representative during collection unless the damage is already noted in the item descriptions.
  • Any damage or loss that occurs after the items leave our warehouse will be the customer's responsibility. This includes both the pickup and return delivery process.
  • Customers are responsible for any damage or loss in the duration of the rental period. 
  • Please note that DILAS Rent bears no responsibility for any damage or loss incurred 
  • during the rental period.
  • Any charges for damage or loss will be deducted from the security deposit. The remaining refundable deposit will be returned via the original form of payment used for the order.
  • If the damage is irreparable, both the full deposit and rental price will be charged.

Cleaning & Maintanance

  • Customers are required to return the items in the same condition as when they left the warehouse within the rental period.
  • A cleaning and maintenance fee will be deducted from the security deposit for any items that are not returned in an appropriately cleaned condition.
  • For specific care instructions, please refer to the Care Section on our website.
  • please avoid washing or laundering them. We'll handle cleaning upon return. Just ensure they are dry and free of unwashable dirt, debris, or food.
  • All dinnerware, cutlery, and tableware items must be returned rinsed and free of food or fluid.
